Since the beta release of Blender 2.80 I’m on an exciting journey to explore new features and the new GUI. While modeling and sculpting I came across some issues with my Normals. Usually I activated the “show normal” for the different kinds like Vertex, Edge or Face on the right 3D View menu. Keep in mind, this is only possible in “Edit Mode”.

In Blender 2.80 this has changed. In the top right corner there is a Button called “Overlays”. A menu will open where you will find the options for Normals display at the bottom. The menu will close when you click outside its boundaries.

The menu to modify Normals in 3D view also changed. In Blender 2.79 the menu could be found at the bottom. Mesh -> Normals.
For Blender 2.80 user the option „Mesh“ -> Normals can be found at the top, shown in the Screenshot below.
